药物设计电子学习

“分子理念学习系列”是一个创新的基于计算机的学习方案,它致力于将作为一个药物发现团队所必须的技能、技术和方法的药物化学、药物设计、化学信息学、结构信息学和分子建模等知识以摘要形式整合在一起。它提供了药化学家分析、理解和就药物的设计做出明智抉择从而使他们能有效推动药物发现进程所需要的全部信息。该学习系列由五个基于计算机的学习模块组成,每个模块专门为药物发现领域的学生和教授们提供面临哪怕最难的药物设计挑战所需要的综合训练。

药物发现模块

学习系列的每个模块从基本原理开始,向更多深入细节拓展,展示了丰富多彩的药物发现相关主题。使用交互式3D技术,实际例子和许多案例研究,用于药物发现的概念、方法和技术等都生动地呈现出来。

模块组成

当Cohen博士从法国巴黎大学获得有机化学博士后,他立即加入巴黎的罗素优克福(Roussel-Uclaf, 现在的赛诺菲-安万特, Sanofi-Aventis)。在巴黎,他担任理论药物化学部的负责人,带领他的团队开展了非常多的心血管药物发现项目。

Cohen博士开发了一大批三维药物设计方法,并用于中枢神经系统、CVS、感染、免疫与肿瘤等治疗领域的药物发现项目。

后来,他参入了瑞士汽巴-嘉基(Ciba-Geigy, 现在的诺华,Novartis)担任分子建模和药物设计的负责人。他的团队成功地将现代理性药物设计理念整合到公司的研究项目,跟他的同事一起Cohen博士发现了几种药物,其中包括缬沙坦(Valsartan, 代文, Diovan)和阿利吉仑(Tekturna / Rasilez)。2008年缬沙坦的总收入为50亿美元,阿利吉仑(Tekturna / Rasilez)是一种肾素抑制剂,于2007实现商业化。鉴于他对当今药物发现方法和技术所做出的贡献,Cohen博士被同行认为合理药物设计的先驱者。
